RO: E deja 2 Septembrie, sau 33 August cum imi place sa spun, oficial mai avem 20 de zile de Vara (pana la echinoctiu de Toamna); 🙃 Ei bine, in perioada dintre 31 August si 23 Septembrie va recunosc ca sunt incredibil de nostalgic, nu stiu daca starea asta mi-e indusa de ‘trend‘-ul, care e de ani in media si peste tot, cum ca trebuie sa fim toti nostalgici la finalul Verii, sau chiar simt asta de la sine. Important e ca nostalgia are farmecul ei, melancolia la fel, iar uneori, cand stim ca mai avem cateva seri in care putem profita de adierile calde de vant si de apusuri colorate, cea mai buna companie poate fi muzica! Va recomand mai jos 10 dintre cele mai frumoase si potrivite melodii de ascultat in aceasta perioada a anului + 1 BONUS! 🌹 Va doresc auditie placuta si spor la visare! 🍷

RO: Intr-o lume in care toti cei pasionati de moda fac top-uri, ‘asa da/asa nu’-uri, etc. vis-à-vis de tinutele prezentate la inceputul acestei saptamani in cadrul evenimentului anual MET GALA; Eu am ales sa va spun ce inseamna mai exact acest EVENIMENT.

Cred ca cel mai important aspect al acestei gale este faptul ca marcheaza in fiecare an deschiderea unei noi expozitii de moda in cadrul Muzeului Metropolitan de Arta din New York City; Evenimentul avand ca scop principal strangerea de fonduri pentru Institutul Costumelor din cadrul muzeului mentionat mai sus. 🏛

Dress code-ul ales in fiecare an, pentru gala, este stabilit in ton cu tema costumelor expuse in cadrul expozitiei din acel moment; Anul acesta tema a fost ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ care are la baza eseul Susanei Sontang numit ‘Notes on ‘Camp’’, eseu care descrie o sensibilitate marcata de performanta, exces, poate chiar prost gust, exemplificat de figuri precum Oscar Wilde si miscari estetice exterioare, cum ar fi Art Nouveau.

MET GALA este probabil cel mai important eveniment de moda, e momentul perfect in care designerii isi pot face de cap aducand la lumina cele mai muncite tinute ale lor (raportate la dress code) prin intermediul celebritatilor de top. ✨

Nu am fost niciodata adeptul postarilor ‘asa da/asa nu’, intradevar exista anumite detalii care diferentiaza o tinuta corecta de una incorecta, insa in final, cand vine vorba de moda/arta toate parerile sunt subiective; Din punctul meu de vedere este mult mai important sa citim cartea inainte de a decide soarta copertei. 🤟

The dress code chosen each year for the gala is set in tone with the theme of the costumes displayed at the exhibition at that time; This year’s theme was ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion‘ based on Susan Sontang‘s ‘Notes on ‘Camp’‘, an essay describing a sensibility of performance, excess, even bad taste, exemplified by figures like Oscar Wilde and external aesthetic movements such as Art Nouveau.

MET GALA is probably the most important fashion event, it’s the perfect time for designers to get their head up and create the most fashionable costumes (according to the dress code) and show them through A-list celebrities. ✨

I’ve never been a fan of ‘yes/no’s‘ posts, there really are some details that differentiate a correct outfit from an incorrect one, but in the end, when it comes to fashion/art, all opinions are subjective; From my point of view, it is much more important to read the book before deciding the fate of the cover. 🤟

TIMISOARA FASHION WEEK // Ziua 2

Dupa cum am spus in articolul de ieri, am revenit cu un VLOG si cateva poze cu atmosfera din a 2-a zi a celei de-a 2-a editii Timisoara Fashion Week; Enjoy! ✨

Si acum sa va zic un mic secret, dar ramane intre noi; A 2-a zi mi-a placut ceva mai mult, mi s-a parut mult mai animat totul, sau poate doar incepeam sa ma obisnuiesc cu toata explozia de creatie de acolo… 😅

A fost un eveniment foarte bine organziat, sper sa ne vedem si la anul! ⚡️

TIMISOARA FASHION WEEK // Ziua 1

In primul rand vreau sa ii felicit pe organizatori pentru toata munca depusa si totodata sa le multumesc pentru invitatie, a fost o experienta frumoasa; Tare ma bucur cand se organizeaza evenimente majore in vestul tarii (aproape de casa).

Pentru necunoscatori, weekend-ul trecut a avut loc a 2-a editie Timisoara Fashion Week avandu-l ca invitat special pe Catalin Botezatu. ✨

Cei care sunteti familiarizati cu blogul meu stiti ca nu imi place sa ma lungesc prin texte, asa ca va las mai jos un VLOG in care am incercat sa cuprind atmosfera evenimentului + poze cu colectiile de haine care mi-au atras atentia! ⚡️

OOTD @ PELEȘ 🏰

RO: Dupa o pauza de postat pe blog de aproape 2 luni revin dupa cum v-am obisnuit cu un nou outfit, de data aceasta prezentat intr-o maniera diferita, la Castelul Peles! Un outfit destul de colorat in comparatie cu tot ce am prezentat pana acum… 🤟

Au trecut 20 si ceva de ani de cand l-am ‘vizitat‘ ultima data, evident ca nu imi mai aminteam nimic, motiv pentru care m-am simtit ca si cand il vizitez pentru prima data; Recomand aceasta vizita tuturor celor care nu au ajuns inca sa il vada insa inainte de toate trebuie sa imi spun si ‘OF‘-ul: Se intra pe grupuri a cate 30-35 de persoane, la interval de 10 de minute, pretul unui bilet intreg pentru adulti este de 60 de lei… Aveam pretentia sa nu fim repeziti de grupul din spate si nici sa nu ne urcam peste grupul din fata, turul este mult prea alert si din cauza numarului mare de oameni abia apuci sa vezi ceva; Si as dori sa mai adaug un lucru, mi se pare lipsa de respect din partea parintilor care vin cu copii mai mici de 3 ani, tot turul am auzit doar strigate si plansete, nu e ca si cand acei copii raman cu ceva dupa aceasta vizita, ii chinui atat pe ei cat si pe ceilalti participanti 🔇… In rest castelul este impecabil, merita vazut! 🗡

EN: After a blog break of almost 2 months, I come back with a new outfit, this time presented in a different way, at Peles Castle! A pretty colorful outfit compared to everything I’ve ever presented… 🤟

It’s been 20+ years since I ‘visited‘ the castle the last time, obviously I didn’t remember anything, which is why it felt like visiting it for the first time; I recommend this trip to all those who have not seen it, but first of all I have to say my ‘SIGH‘: You enter alongside groups of 30-35 people, once at every 10 minutes, the price of a ticket for adults is 60 lei (13 €)… I was pretending not to be rushed by the back group and not to climb over the front group, the tour is too rash and because of the large number of people you barely get to see something; And I would like to add another thing, it seems to me pretty disrespectful from the parents who come with children younger than 3 years old, all the tour I heard only screams and whines, it’s not like those children remains\ with something after the tour, those parents are torturing both, the children and the other participants 🔇… But after all the castle is impeccable, it is worth seeing! 🗡

P.S. – In 3 zile vin pozele si outfit-ul din varful muntilor Bucegi!

GALA UAD 2018

RO:  Am bifat si anul acesta GALA UAD! Ce e GALA UAD? Cel mai mare eveniment de moda local care cuprinde prezentarea colectiilor studentilor si masteranzilor de la Universitatea de Arte din Cluj-Napoca la sectia moda. ⚡

As vrea sa ii mentionez pe cei care mi-au atras cel mai tare atentia prin piesele vestimentare create: Raul Lazar (a creat niste outfituri impecabile), Andrada Morutan (pentru ingeniozitate) si Bogdan Benea (pentru doza de nebunie); Pentru cei interesati de mai multe detalii privind colectiile click aici.

Despre tinuta mea cu care m-am prezentat la eveniment nu am prea multe de zis, o tinuta clasica all black facuta pe fuga 😅… Insa merita sa cautati pe Instagram hashtag-urile #GalaUAD si #GalaUAD2018 pentru ca au fost cateva aparitii misto! 🔥

EN: I also checked this year’s UAD GALA! What is UAD GALA? The biggest local fashion event that includes the presentation of collections of students and master students from the University of Arts of Cluj-Napoca at the Fashion Department. ⚡️

I would like to mention the designers who have caught my attention the most: Raul Lazar (who created some impeccable outfits), Andrada Morutan (for ingenuity) and Bogdan Benea (for the dose of madness); For those interested in more details about collections click here.

Iubesc… by Marta Popescu

RO: In caz ca nu stiti, IUBESC… este proiectul Martei Popescu (fotograf) in care oamenii sunt invitati sa arate pe o bucata de hartie, in fata camerei foto, ce/cum/cat iubesc.

Anul acesta am ales sa spun ca iubesc o categorie de vin, si anume Pinot Grigio; De ce? Asta mi-a venit. Nu sunt alcoolic , nici insensibil… Insa iubesc mult prea multe lucruri, multi oameni si in mult prea multe feluri pentru a putea rezuma totul intr-un singur cuvint.

Doresc sa o felicit pe Marta pentru ca a reusit sa realizeze acest eveniment anual inca din 2012… Sper sa ne revedem multi ani de acum incolo aratand in continuare pe foi ce si cum iubim. #LoveWins

EN: If you don’t know, IUBESC… (I LOVE…) is Marta Popescu‘s (photographer) project where people are invited to show on a piece of paper, in front of the photo camera, what/how they love.

This year I chose to say that I love a certain wine category, Pinot Grigio; Why? Randomly. No, I am not alcoholic , nor insensitive… But I love a lot of things, many people and in too many ways to can resume everything in one single word.

I want to congratulate Marta for making this event yearly even since 2012… I hope to see you years from now still showing on pieces of paper what and how we love. #LoveWins

Madame Tussauds, Vienna

RO: A doua oara cand vizitez un muzeu Madame Tussauds… Evident ca nu m-am putut abtine de la ipostazele teatrale (prostesti) alaturi de statuile de ceara a catorva dintre personalitatile mele preferate!

Recomand tuturor vizita unui astfel de muzeu, pe langa faptul ca e destul de amuzant sa vezi diverse personalitati (din toate timpurile, in functie de muzeu) realizate in scara 1:1 intr-o maniera cat mai realista posibil, cat si pentru a observa in detaliu rabdarea si munca artistilor care realizeaza astfel de statui.

Fara alte cuvinte, va las mai jos cateva cadre din vizita mea, sper sa va amuze…

EN: My second visit at a Madame Tussauds museum… Obviously, I could not abstain myself from my theatrical (foolish) poses near the wax statues of a few of my favorite personalities!

I recommend you all to visit one of these museums, beside the fact that it is pretty entertaining to see various personalities (from all the times) made 1:1 in a manner as realistic as possible, it is also amazing to observe in details the patience and work of the artists who created these statues.

Unde ieşim săptămâna asta? (Mărţişor edition)

Ştiu, e Marţi deja, mărţişorul a cam trecut de 2 zile, însă petrecerile şi evenimentele de început de Primâvară acum încep! Primăvară… Aparent revine Iarna.

Încă în vacanţă, la Deva, ma pregatesc să revin în glorie după mult-prea-lunga sesiune… A 2-a jumătate a acestei saptămâni ne încântă cu concerte, vernisaje şi întâlniri cu tot felul de oameni frumoşi şi talentaţi.

Miercuri, de la ora 19:00, Aiurart găzduieşte la Carturesti Carusel o expoziţie de artă + un discurs retrospectiv, ambele intitulate #intro/extro/retrospective. Mai multe detalii găsiţi aici.

Joi seara, la Fratelli Espresso Bar, are loc o seară speciala de #Aperitivo, invitat special Marta Popescu. Pentru mai multe detalii, click aici.

Vineri seară, la Colectiv e discoteca! Da, aţi auzit bine, D-I-S-C-O-T-E-C-Ă! Invitată special să ne cânte şi încânte, Mirabela Dauer. Detalii aici.

Sâmbătă seara, are loc Vivo Spring Summer, la Vivo – Fusion Food Bar, o petrecere care se anunţă a fi cu potenţial ridicat de distracţie. Mai multe detalii găsiţi aici.
